Welcome to TorqVault. This Privacy Policy explains how TorqVault ("the App," "we," "us," or "our"), developed by Skyler Granger, handles information when you use our iOS application. TorqVault is a vehicle build documentation app designed for custom car and truck builders, classic car restorers, and DIY garage enthusiasts.

Our core commitment: TorqVault is built entirely with Apple-native frameworks. We do not use third-party analytics, tracking SDKs, or advertising networks. Your data stays on your device and, if you choose, in your private iCloud account. We cannot access your data.

By using TorqVault, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the App.

2. Information We Collect

TorqVault does not require user accounts, registration, or login. We do not collect personal information such as your name, email address, phone number, or location. The App processes the following data exclusively on your device or within your private iCloud container:

Future Advertising Disclosure

A future version of TorqVault may include advertisements in the free tier via Apple's AdServices framework. If and when advertising is introduced, this Privacy Policy will be updated accordingly, and users will be notified of the change. No third-party ad networks will be used.

We do not sell, rent, trade, or share your personal data with any third party. Period. Your vehicle build data, photos, and project information belong to you.

Because all data is stored locally on your device or in your private iCloud account, you can exercise these rights directly without needing to contact us. We do not process your personal data on any server we control.

Your data is retained on your device and in your iCloud container for as long as you choose to keep it. We have no server-side data retention because we do not operate servers.

10. In-App Purchases & Subscriptions

TorqVault offers a freemium model with optional subscription tiers (Pro, Shop, and Lifetime). All purchases are processed through Apple's App Store using StoreKit. We do not collect, process, or store any payment information. Your purchase history and billing details are managed entirely by Apple under their privacy policy and terms of service.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the App, legal requirements, or our practices. When we make material changes, we will update the "Effective Date" at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify users through the App. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.

Continued use of TorqVault after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Privacy Policy.
